Long-Time TFC Staffer Promoted to Director of Clinic Operations

Very few companies have a workforce that compares with the hundreds of volunteers whose generosity keeps Trinity Free Clinic running.  For the past five years, Lisa Kastler Curry has been our own personal “Air Traffic Controller”, ensuring that vital volunteer personnel are in place every day.  From physicians and dentists to nurses and hygienists, translators to social workers, medical student rotations, managers, and physician’s assistants, it is Lisa who checks every box twice to make sure Trinity Free Clinic will be ready to serve the needs of our patients.  Lisa’s tireless attention to detail ensures that clinic operations continue to run smoothly.

The duties of the Volunteer Coordinator don’t stop at scheduling though (as though that wasn’t enough).  She also manages the FTCA malpractice insurance for this army of volunteers, conducts all volunteer trainings, manages volunteer communications, coordinates peer reviews, and manages volunteer appreciation.  She knows every volunteer by name and always has an open door when they need someone to talk to.

Trinity Free Clinic is pleased to announce that Lisa has recently been promoted to Director of Clinic Operations.  In this new expanded role, Lisa will also be taking on management of Trinity Free Clinic’s front office staff and day to day clinic operations.  We are deeply grateful for the countless contributions Lisa has made to our organization for the past five years.  This promotion is much-deserved, and we hope you will join us in congratulating her as she transitions into this new role.
