We had a little boy who was very nervous about receiving his vaccines. He had been waiting for a while and watched as several other children came and went for vaccines…some of whom were not very happy at all.
He was getting more and more nervous. We were able to provide him a blanket that was made by the “Linus” initiative.
He was thrilled to pick out a train blanket….soon he had this “magic” blanket wrapped around his shoulders like a cape….he was a super hero not afraid of his shots! As he “flew” back to get his shots you heard him singing…..”I am strong…..I am not afraid because my God has muscles too!"
