Patterson Dental is a value-added distributor focused on providing best-in-class products, services and technology to the dental health markets. The Patterson Foundation was created in 2000 when Peter L. Frechette, then Patterson Companies chairman and CEO, and a few other executive of the company, made major contributions as a way to give back to the community. Since then the Foundation has provided $7.6 million in grants to more than 140 non-profits organizations.

The Trinity Free Clinic is fortunate enough to not only work with Patterson Dental for their dental supplies and needs, but also be a recipient of a $10,000 Patterson Foundation grant for the second year. In 2018, the Trinity Free Clinic treated 955 dental patients in 1,520 dental visits. This year, TFC has expanded their partnership with the IU School of Dentistry. The IU Dental School has increased its rotation from 1 day a week to 2.5. Because of this expansion, Trinity anticipates having more dental patients and dental visits in 2019.

A dental patient recently wrote the clinic, “I have been dealing with extreme pain on the right side of my mouth. I seem to have an infection and they are giving me medicine for that as well as making me a few appointments with some of your professional dentists. I was very nervous and insecure about coming to the dentist and your entire staff was so nice and friendly and me feel so comfortable!”

The Trinity Free Clinic is dedicated to serving the low-income, uninsured, or underinsured workers and their families of Hamilton County. Trinity is so grateful for Patterson Dental and the Patterson Foundation. They truly would not be able to expand their services or provide free dental care without the assistance or support from Patterson Dental and the Patterson Foundation.
