TFC is Grateful for the Continued Support from the Biddle Memorial Foundation
The Biddle Memorial Foundation’s mission is to make a positive difference in people’s lives in and around the Sheridan community. The foundation was formed in 2001 to continue the generous giving of the late Ken and Velma Biddle from Sheridan. Over the last 10 years, the Biddle foundation has donated almost one million dollars to various local organizations.
The Trinity Free Clinic is fortunate to be one of the local non-profits that has been given grants from the Biddle Memorial Foundation. The clinic received its first grant from the foundation in 2016, and then again 2018. The grant awarded in 2018 helped treat 3,220 patients in 6,362 free medical and dental visits. 129 of those visits treated Sheridan residents.
At the beginning of 2019, the foundation awarded the Trinity Free Clinic a $5,000 grant for its general medical and dental operations. Trinity is so thankful for the continual support from the Biddle Memorial Foundation. With the Biddle Foundation’s charitable contributions, the Trinity Free Clinic is able to provide their Hamilton County patients the care they deserve. The clinic is dedicated to providing the low-income, uninsured and underinsured workers and their families with the best possible medical and dental care.
One patient wrote to the clinic “I recently lost my job and wasn’t able to afford health insurance, so I wasn’t able to get the care I desperately needed. Thanks to the Trinity Free Clinic I was able to see a professional and was able to get treatment for my injury. I am so thankful for the assistance that you guys provide.”
The Trinity Free Clinic would not be able to care for patients in that situation without the support of organizations like the Biddle Memorial Foundation. The Biddle Foundation plans to continue to support local organizations for years to come.
